Hidden History

The original Glensavage house, an 18th century manor house, was the home to the Misses Doris and Sheila Findlater from 1932 - 1968, of the celebrated family of wine and whiskey merchants, until the late 1960s. Doris was also an avid gardener, and became famous for hybridising her own nerines.
